Vermantia unveils ultra-low latency streaming
New service offers operators a scalable solution for pictures and data distribution
Vermantia, leader in omni-channel content solutions, has launched a new ultra-low latency streaming service for its retail and online partners.
The service enables betting with less than one second latency on thousands of live racing events, including top quality horse and greyhound racing from the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, and South Africa.
It also supports a comprehensive virtual games portfolio and the best international live sports events, providing a real-time streaming experience, bespoke to each operator’s needs and network size.
The new streaming service stands as the ideal solution for smaller retail networks, as well as any online operation, and is available both as a stand-alone service as well as a complementary one to an existing broadcast solution.
It also solidifies the company’s world-leading range of turnkey services from content sourcing, hosting and bespoke channels production to optimum delivery.
Vermantia COO George Fotopoulos said the streaming service would be hugely beneficial to the supplier’s expanding customer base in both existing and emerging markets.
He added: “A reliable streaming product which combines the highest picture quality with genuine low-latency in a cost-effective solution is a must for any successful operator these days.
“Harnessed with comprehensive data, it provides customers with a compelling product that delivers the thrill of live sporting action in-shop or to the finger-tips of their mobile or desktop device.”
The company is set to roll out the new service in the coming months across several operator partners in countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, Eastern Europe, and the CIS.
