Metric Gaming and Bethard Group enter U.S. market joint venture
Metric Gaming, the sports betting platform and services provider licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, has entered into a joint venture with the Bethard Group in a bid to take on the nascent U.S. market.
The joint venture, named Hard Metrics, provides operators with a turnkey solution to enter regulated sports betting and iGaming markets across the U.S. efficiently and effectively via a single contracting entity.
Hard Metrics provides a compelling solution for both large operators, already established in other territories, or those looking to get in on the action for the first time.
Metric Gaming provides a full sports betting solution with focus on American sports as well as Metric’s own proprietary golf, racing and just-launched soccer product.
Bethard Group, through its B2B sister company Together Gaming, will provide its powerful iGaming platform together with its operational services such as customer support, payments and more. It also allows Hard Metrics’ partners to offer casino content to their players where they are permitted to do so.
Combining Metric Gaming and Bethard provides a comprehensive and complete online sports betting and casino solution for the US market. It also allows partners to access unrivalled experience and knowledge gained in both the B2B and B2C sectors.
Martin de Knijff, Metric Gaming Founder and CEO, said “Metric are very excited by the prospect of working closely with Bethard to provide a compelling turnkey solution for operators to gain entry into the U.S. market via one contract and one provider.
“The strength of our combined offering will be suitable for both established sports betting operators and new operators alike. Metric and Bethard already have a close relationship and this seemed an almost inevitable step in our evolution to bring this solution to market.
“Metric’s product and trading expertise added to Bethard’s proven pedigree in offering a full platform solution will provide a very attractive route to market for many operators.”
Erik Skarp, Bethard Co-Founder and CEO, said: “Our ambition with this partnership is to make the U.S. less complicated for operators from a technical and contractual standpoint.
“With a one-stop-shop solution, I feel confident that we can now focus our energy on obtaining licenses and be readily accessible to operators in a timely fashion. These are exiting times and we look forward to another successful journey.”
