Yobetit Sponsors Local Voluntary Group South End Core
The Maltese betting company Yobetit has recently sponsored the local voluntary group South End Core (SEC) by gifting the group over 200 scarves. Yobetit hopes to extend their support to help SEC extend theirs to the community and local sports teams.
SEC was founded by Louis Agius, and is currently being run by Dillon Mercieca. The group continues to follow and support the Malta National Teams in Football, Rugby, Water polo and Handball. On top of providing local support, SEC also provide social support, by fund-raising and organising events to help the community.
The scarves feature a new design along with the Yobetit logo to accommodate the new re-branding of South End Core as part of the 2019 campaign. SEC have been operating in Malta for over 10 years attending local matches, as well as international games to support local talent.
“We are always pleased to show our support locally,” said Yobetit Marketing Manager Michael Hjelm adding;
“SEC is a passionate group of people who similarly like to help the community and boost local talent whenever they can. We at Yobetit hope our sponsorship will help the group continue to grow and show their support.”
South End Core’s Dillon Merceica shared his appreciation for Yobetit’s influence within the Maltese community, he said;
“I am very pleased that Yobetit heard our idea about a possible partnership. This shows that the Yobetit team understand, support & appreciate local supporters. We hope that this partnership renews itself year after year.”
This year Malta will be competing in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying tournament in March, and you can be sure to see SEC in the crowd supporting the Malta national team and proudly wearing the Yobetit sponsored scarves.
