Two players hit jackpot in Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slot in 48 hours
In a remarkable turn of events, two players have hit the jackpot in Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slot in a span of 48 hours. The first jackpot, worth €11,546,388.15 jackpot was hit on March 5. The second one, of €2,201,120.31, happened on 6 March. Both lump sums were won through Casino Rewards brands.
The first one is estimated to be the fourth largest (EUR/EUR equivalent) on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, following the €13,328,028.16 win earlier this year, the €18,915,872.81 paid in September 2018, and the €17,879,645.12 that earned Microgaming a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title in 2015. Remarkably, the €2.2 million win was triggered within 33 bets of the player registering with the casino that day.
Microgaming has paid out more than €1 billion to date.
David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming, said:”And there we have it! Mega Moolah strikes yet again. Microgaming continues to lead the way with more life-changing wins on the network. The fact that these two millionaires were made on consecutive days really demonstrates the strength and popularity of our world-famous Mega Moolah slot. Congratulations to both players!”
“Congratulations to our winners from everyone at the Casino Rewards team! We are absolutely delighted to see another two lucky players scoop seven and eight-figure sums on the massive Mega Moolah progressive jackpot – what a victory! To make three multimillionaires in as many months – two of them within 48 hours – is beyond anything we could have imagined! It’s great to see such colossal wins for our Casino Rewards members!” – added Emma Hall from Casino Rewards.
