Kindred moves to new premises in central Stockholm
The gambling operator Kindred Group moves to state-of-the-art premises at AMF Real Estate in Urban Escape in central Stockholm, consolidating its role as one of the leading tech companies in Sweden. The ambition is to double the number of employees in the coming years.
“It is very exciting to finally move into new premises in the middle of Stockholm where we can continue to grow at a fast pace. Since the birth of Kindred more than 20 years ago, it has been important for us to create a work environment that reflects our culture and our values”, says Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Kindred Group.
Kindred has grown rapidly in recent years and currently employs around 1,500 people worldwide, of which approximately 350 people work in Stockholm. The move means that Kindred’s office space increases from the current 3,000 sqm to 7,000 sqm. With the current growth rate, Kindred expects that the number of employees in Stockholm will double in the coming years.
“We are in an expansive phase right now and the new premises will allow us to grow rapidly. Several hundred new employees will be recruited to the Stockholm office in order for Kindred to secure its position as a digital gambling company at the forefront of technology development and sustainability”, says Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Kindred Group.
Kindred moves into two floors on Regeringsgatan 29 starting April 8th. Other tenants in the new tech cluster include EQT, Netlight, and Microsoft.
Kindred Group is one of the world’s leading online gambling operators with business across Europe and Australia, offering over 24 million customers across 11 brands a great form of entertainment in a safe, fair and sustainable environment. The company, which employs about 1,400 people, is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm Large Cap and is a member of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) and founding member of ESSA (sports betting integrity). Kindred Group is audited and certified by eCOGRA for compliance with the 2014 EU Recommendation on Consumer Protection and Responsible Gambling (2014/478/EU). Read more on www.kindredgroup.com.
