Spectral Technology, TITO and age recognition are a hit at Spanish gaming show
Innovative Technology Spain reported a busy and successful Feria Internacional del Juego which took place in Madrid last week. ITL used the show to demo their two new Spectral recyclers to the Spanish gaming market, as well as their TITO offering plus new automated age verification unit, ICU.
Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, Group Sales Director commented, “FER is a great networking opportunity as it gives us the chance to meet up with our Spanish gaming customers together under one roof. This biannual event always provides a relaxed and friendly setting to interact at a local level. Our Spectral product family (which now includes note validators, recyclers, ticket printers and a new bunch note feeder (BNF) module) was the focal point at the show. We introduced our Spectral recyclers to the Spanish market and both the NV22 Spectral and Spectral Payout attracted much interest at the show. They offer the gaming industry secure, mixed denomination recycling as well as large storage capabilities thereby eliminating coin starvation and reducing float levels. The use of Spectral technology in both units offers exceptional protection against fraudulent and stained notes and full spectral imaging sensors validates the authenticity of notes. The new BNF module was also demoed quite significantly on the stand with customers impressed with its large 2200 cashbox and deposit capacity giving customers the opportunity to present 100+ notes.”
Mustapha continued, “There was also lots of talk about our successful TITO conversions and installs. Our TITO system is now available in many arcade machines across Spain and we have a team here in Spain dedicated to championing this system. This is a complete solution for any gaming and amusement operators intending to implement TITO. Customers can use the SMART Ticket which is ideal for high volume applications; or the NV12 a more compact option for operators with limited space considerations. Digital and analogue machines can be converted to be TITO compliant and machines fitted with a hub and server give operators a full audit of cash and TITO transactions. We were also delighted to see that our age verification unit – ICU, was also popular on the stand. This exciting new product attracted lots of attention with its ability to successfully predict the age of visitors using intelligent biometrics.”
ICU from Innovative Technology uses biometric algorithms, to verify and automate the policy for controlling access to age restricted premises such as Adult Gaming Centres. This is a standalone unit, so there is no need for customers to pre-register, providing a seamless service for the end user.
Mustapha concluded, “Not only did we have lots of visitors on our stand over the two days, but we were also pleased to see many of our products on other stands too. Overall it was a great show for us, and we look forward to following up on all our leads, and of course to the next show in 2021!”
