New Commercial Manager boosts DWG’s UK expansion
Slot provider grows team and opens new London office
Design Works Gaming (DWG), a leading provider of land-based, online and social casino games, has kick-started the expansion of its UK office by hiring Francesca Gambrell as its new Commercial Manager.
Gambrell joins the new UK-based DWG team after working as Director of Client Services at digital marketing agency Ayima. Prior to that she headed up the commercial and marketing division at QuickThink Media, having begun her career as a VIP Marketing Executive at Ladbrokes.
Andy Harris, UK CEO at DWG, said: “We’re delighted to have Francesca join us in our new office. Her experience and creativity will be hugely beneficial as we look to develop our presence in the UK market.
“Francesca has a proven track record of success and has played a significant part in the growth and development of other companies, so she is a perfect fit for us.”
Gambrell said: “I am very happy to join DWG, which is a great opportunity. With its success as a land-based and social operator, it will be very exciting to be part of the new online arm here in the UK as we launch real money gaming for the first time.”
DWG’s new London office will act as its UK headquarters, housing all British staff.
Arizona-based DWG has been creating popular titles for bricks and mortar heavyweights including Aristocrat, iGT, Konami, Novomatic and Scientific Games since it was founded in 2005 by Las Vegas veteran, Troy Zurawski.
All of DWG’s games are created in-house at its Scottsdale headquarters. More than 70 percent of its maths models are unique to each single game, with an incredible 110 titles produced during 2018 alone.
