GeoComply, Industry Partners and Guests Donate Over $45K to the National Council on Problem Gambling at G2E Fundraising Event
GeoComply is pleased to announce that they have raised $45,220 for the National Council on Problem Gambling from an industry event held on Sunday evening, prior to the annual G2E conference in Las Vegas. The event was hosted at the residence of the well-respected philanthropist Diana Bennett and included gaming industry executives from around the world.
The funds were raised by GeoComply and its partners (Worldpay Gaming, SG Digital, Sightline Payments, VAIX, Accertify and GameSecure) as well as through individual donations from guests at the event.
“Player welfare is an extremely important conversation in our industry and we are seeing preventative developments as technology suppliers work to identify behavior markers, operators expand training & support programs and regulators enhance their Responsible Gambling regulations,” says Anna Sainsbury, Founder and CEO of GeoComply. “NCPG is the support system for those vulnerable people that are in need of help. As our industry receives very little funding from the National Institute of Health, it is up to us to come together to financially drive preventative and care programs for citizens.”
