Bethereum, a leading peer-to-peer betting and iGaming platform, won SiGMA iGaming Best Startup of 2019 at SiGMA iGaming Summit on Thursday, November 28th, in Malta.
SiGMA is considered to be one of the leading iGaming industry fairs in the world, an absolute reference for the iGaming market! This year, SiGMA Malta hosted over 400 sponsors and exhibitors, 200 industry-leading speakers, and had a record of 12,500 attendees from over 80 countries.
Bethereum was chosen as SiGMA’s iGaming Best Startup of 2019 by a jury comprised of top of their field experts and potential investors. Ten leading startups were chosen to present to the jury, out of hundreds of startups who applied. Watch Bethereum’s pitch and Q&A from the jury here.
Giacomo Tognoni, CEO at Bethereum, said after winning the award: “We are thankful for this recognition, it’s not every day that you get to pitch and win in front of 500 people, out of hundreds of startups, in such a major event!
“We’re combining a user-friendly experience with powerful gamification elements; this is an innovation that can truly boost retention and engagement.
“It was a thrilling experience, fully dedicated to our amazing community and team. A huge thanks to the SiGMA organisers and the jury!”
Bethereum is dedicated to deliver the most intuitive and innovative betting platform on the market, addressing the major challenges the industry faces today.
Bethereum transforms the individual, mercenary betting activity into a highly engaging and social experience, which is a key competitive advantage they have compared to existing online betting operators. They combine gamification and social elements, a true gamechanger for new comers to betting who seek a more social engagement, as well as more fair and transparent form of betting.
