Play’n GO Pick Up SiGMA Win for Mobile Prowess
Play’n GO celebrated being crowned Mobile Gaming Provider of the Year at the Malta Gaming Awards last week.
The final week of November saw Malta host one of iGaming’s largest events, SiGMA 2019. Attended by industry professionals from across the globe, it is one of the networking events of the calendar.
As always it was preceded by the MGA awards, celebrating and “shining a spotlight on some of the most intriguing and creative projects to change the face of the iGaming sphere”.
The award comes as little surprise, as Play’n GO are renowned for their mobile gaming, one of the foundations upon which their gaming success was built. This is highlighted by the fact that the award comes just a month after they were crowned Mobile Supplier of the Year at the 5-Star Media’s Starlet Awards.
The win was also announced just before the Global Gaming Awards announced their shortlist for their 2020 edition of their awards, which sees Play’n GO release Black Mamba, a game created in partnership with the Italian hard rock band of the same name, nominated for Casino Product of the Year.
Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO spoke on the wins and the nomination: “It’s always an honour to win an industry award. We put a lot of effort into our content and tools, and so to be recognised for it is always a welcome pleasure.
Two wins and a nomination over the last few weeks shows our strength in the industry, and we have much more planned for 2020!”
Could it be two wins in two weeks for Play’n GO? A strong finish to what has been a strong year for the slot specialists.
