Capitals Player Evgeny Kuznetsov and Caps Gaming’s JohnWayne to Play NHL 20 Jan. 15
Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov will compete against Caps Gaming’s JohnWayne, the first individual to be signed as an esports pro by an NHL organization, in NHL 20 on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 12:30 p.m. E.T.
Kuznetsov, an avid gamer, will play at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, while JohnWayne will compete from his home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Monumental Sports & Entertainment launched Caps Gaming presented by Leidos as a new esports-focused sub-brand in November. Caps Gaming aims to help foster the growth of the NHL competitive gaming community and create visibility for hockey’s esports scene.
