DWG launches record number of games in 2019
Leading games provider and social casino operator, Design Works Gaming (DWG) launched a record number of titles across its social casinos in 2019, ahead of its imminent entry into online real money gaming.
Over 125 new games went live on DWG’s social casinos Diamond Sky Casino, Spin Vegas Slots and Cash River Casino last year, an increase of 14 percent compared with 2018.
In preparation for DWG’s debut in online real money gaming, after being granted a GB Gambling Commission licence at the end of last year, the company is busy working with GLI to complete the certification for 41 games.
This year, the company will further certify 50 more of its existing titles that have already been successful in land-based and social casinos, offering online operators a portfolio of titles with proven track records. In addition to new game titles, DWG will also launch its suite of promotional tools in 2020.
The most popular game across all jurisdictions in 2019 was fan-favourite Diamonds, Sapphires & Rubies. This classic Vegas-style slot is adorned with bonus features such as stacked wilds, wheel bonuses and a 4-level progressive jackpot.
Andy Harris, UK CEO of DWG, said: “One of our unique selling points is the number of proven games we can offer our operator partners, so I am pleased to have further expanded our portfolio with a record number of titles in 2019.
“Our UK launch is now imminent and 2020 will be an exciting year for DWG as we set off on our journey in real money gaming.”
