Progressive studio to drive direct distribution through acquisition of GSI

Games development studio Push Gaming has agreed a deal to acquire GSI in order to scale up its delivery of products directly to its operator partners.

The deal, which will see GSI join the Push Gaming team, includes industry veteran Founders Paul Evison and Paul Beattie, who have vast experience in building scalable gaming technology in regulated markets.

The acquisition of GSI, whose products include the Hive RGS and Mesh Aggregator will give Push Gaming more flexibility and control over its technology, as well as the development of platform functionality, game design and industry distribution.

James Marshall, CEO and Co-Founder at Push Gaming, said: “The acquisition of GSI is a real game changer for us and we’re confident it will help us to become a key player within the industry.

“The launch of our own platform gives us full control of our game development, delivery and operator integrations. We will now also benefit from GSI’s extensive industry knowledge and experience, as well as their fantastic technical team ”

Paul Beattie and Paul Evison, Co-Founders of GSI added: “The acquisition of GSI is the perfect way for Push Gaming to take its delivery to the next level and take on the big suppliers.

Push Gaming prides itself on creating premium, mobile-optimised HTML5 games for a wide range of partners, including the industry’s leading operators and has ambitious plans for 2020.

Its engaging catalogue of award-winning content has received multiple honours in recent times for its immersive and entertaining gameplay.

Melco’s Cyprus “Glow Your Way to Macao” Roadshow Promotes Macao’s Status as a Leading Leisure and Business Travel Destination to European and Arabian Markets

With the aim of supporting the SAR government’s plans to promote international travel and boost tourism in Macao, on September 17, hosted the second in its series of “Glow Your Way to Macao” events, this time in Cyprus, to promote Macao’s status as a top travel leisure and business destination.

To appeal to travelers from European and Arabian countries, Melco invited approximately 150 guests from the government of the Republic of Cyprus, the Macao SAR government, travel agencies, business associations and media representatives from across Europe, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Macao to the event hosted at City of Dreams Mediterranean. The roadshow introduced attendees to Macao’s diverse historical and cultural offerings and attractions, as well as Melco’s unparalleled and award-winning hotel, entertainment, dining and exhibition facilities.

Showcasing Melco’s steadfast commitment to promoting Macao as a global hub for both leisure and business travelers, Melco has set up sales offices to promote the city in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines, and is currently in the process of setting up a sales office the Republic of Cyprus.

Clarion provide a new home for industry leaders and policy makers with launch of the ICE World Gaming Forum.

ICE organisers have taken full-advantage of the additional space and enhanced facilities its new home, the Fira Gran Via Barcelona, offers to launch the World Gaming Forum (WGF), an immersive three-day learning, networking and knowledge sharing exchange which replaces ICE VOX.
