New long-term agreement signed with Color Line
Paf has signed a new agreement with the Norwegian shipping company Color Line. Paf will provide the gaming entertainment on board the shipping company’s five passenger ships.
Paf has been a partner for the Norwegian shipping company Color Line. Paf provides the gaming entertainment on board the ships in the form of slot machines, entertainment games and physical gaming tables. Color Line has now chosen to sign a new long-term agreement with Paf.
“Paf has been a good partner that has contributed to a positive development of our gaming operations,” says Thomas Gudbjerg, Executive Vice President Commercial & Hotel Operation on board.
Color Line is Norway’s largest shipping company for passenger ships that operate to and from Norway. The shipping company operates five ships on four international routes between Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Paf has provided the on board gaming entertainment for the past six years.
“There have been a few challenging years for our collaboration due to the pandemic, but Color Line is a well-run and great shipping company that has weathered the strong winds in the industry. Now we look forward to continuing our journey together,” says Christer Fahlstedt, CEO of Paf.
Established a new level
Although the last few years have been tough for the shipping industry, Paf has together with Color Line managed to develop the business.
“Together with Paf, we have succeeded in establishing a new level for gaming operations on board. We also appreciate Paf’s strong position in terms of responsible gaming, which is important to us,” says Thomas Gudbjerg.
In recent years, Paf has invested in developing the entertainment games with the new cashless Game Room concept. At the same time, the slot machines have been renewed and the range of games updated.
“We have managed to reach revenues that are better than those we had before the pandemic. In order to continue that development, we will invest in further improvements of the gaming experience, new and slightly fewer gaming machines and redesigned gaming areas,” says Lasse Danielsson, Chief Operating Officer for Paf.
