Salsa Technology’s Expertise Guarantees Secure and Seamless Platform Migrations

Players Account Management (PAM): after all, whose data is it? Such a question inspired the article recently published in the Brazilian iGaming media from Peter Nolte, Salsa Technology founder. Here the executive highlighted the significance of data security. He points out its crucial role is not just in safeguarding user information in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) but also maintaining an operator’s business capabilities in platform migrations.
Following Salsa Technology’s successful move into Brazil’s regulated market, the company has reported an increase of at least 200% in potential customer interest. These potential partners are exploring the Salsa Omni PAM platform to launch a new operation or to migrate data from an existing one. It is worth noting Salsa Technology is the technology partner for NossaBet, an operator licensed by Lottopar.
In the case of rapidly expanding markets such as Brazil and other Latin American countries, the urgency for new operators to ‘enter the field’ or ‘change the game’ with a robust platform is common. Salsa Technology emphasises the importance of cautiousness, especially when it comes to platform migration. The company passionately advocates a process that is delivered with responsibility and in-depth planning to guarantee quality and integrity of the data.
“More than once, due to negotiations with potential investors who were also PAM owners, we came to consider migrating our platform,” the Chief Operating Officer for Mexican operator BigBola Online, which has been using the Salsa platform since 2016, Etna Rueda, said. “On each of these occasions we have relied on the absolute availability of the Salsa Technology team to assist us with data transfer. It is essential to have peace of mind knowing that our users’ data is stored securely and clarity about the ownership of this information.”
“In addition to ensuring clarity around data ownership, it’s crucial that the infrastructure is correctly sized and the platform guarantees scalability to support company growth,” the Head of Marketing and Sales for Salsa Technology, Eliane Nunes, said. “Salsa Technology also stands apart as whether in the first steps of a new operator or in a new journey of an existing operation our technical team is there side-by-side for the customer.”
