Homa, a leading mobile game publisher, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Adair as its new VP & General Manager of Hybridcasual. This strategic addition aligns with the company’s goal of expanding and strengthening its hybridcasual division with experienced senior leadership to deliver deeper gaming experiences.
With deep expertise spanning over ten years in the mobile gaming field, Dan is set to make significant contributions at Homa. Dan joins Homa from Scopely, where he spent 8 years serving in General Manager & Product Leadership roles across several live and in-development titles, including WWE Champions and Kingdom Maker.
As a member of Scopely’s Senior Leadership Team, he worked on various company-wide initiatives, such as updating the framework used to greenlight, develop, and launch new titles, and he also served on numerous Product/Design councils across the Scopely portfolio. Dan began his professional gaming career at Zynga, where he led teams on Zynga Poker and Dawn of Titans, though he has been an avid gamer for as long as he can remember.
At Homa, Dan will lead the charge in greenlighting new products in the hybridcasual portfolio, ensuring that each title delivers transformative impact. Additionally, he will boost Homa’s expertise in the hybridcasual space by strategically recruiting key team members and cultivating a top-of-the-line studio ecosystem to build world-class products. He will also collaborate closely with other teams such as Corporate Development & Product Strategy to evaluate long-term partnerships and strategic M&A opportunities.
“I’m thrilled to join such an innovative, ambitious, and creative team. Homa’s ability to identify and develop new game concepts in the hypercasual space has already driven tremendous success. I’m excited to help the team bring deep, engaging meta systems to those games and new ones so that millions of players can enjoy the next generation of Homa’s titles for years to come” said Dan Adair, VP & General Manager of Hybridcasual at Homa.
In the words of Henry Lowenfels, President and CBO at Homa: “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Dan before, and I’m confident that his product leadership will enable Homa to build innovative games in the hybridcasual space. Dan exemplifies the level of talent and experience we are attracting to Homa as we take the next step in growing our business and building products that audiences will love and play for years.”
With Dan’s appointment, Homa continues its plan to hire top talent to drive growth, innovation, and disruption in the mobile gaming industry. Check open positions on its website.
