SlotGuru to go live in Iceland

SlotGuru announced that Iceland’s two Slot Machine operators, the University of Iceland (UIL) and Islandsspil, have combined forces to jointly deploy its unique slot database mobile application across Iceland.
The SlotGuru service provides key information, including volatility levels, on over 2,600 casino slot games directly to a players’ mobile phone. Icelandic players will now better understand the likely impact of their gameplay choices before committing any money.
“At UIL we believe that education and access to pertinent information are vital in enabling our players to make more responsible decisions when determining their gameplay choices,” said Bryndis Hrafnkelsdóttir, CEO at UIL.
“The ability to have such a wealth of information available to all players is a dramatic innovation that will help further our significant drive to promote and install a culture of Responsible Gambling throughout Iceland.” added Magnus Snaebjornsson, Managing Director at Islandsspil.
“The impact of volatility cannot be underestimated when determining the gaming experience of a player. It is near impossible for a player to find this information and so they cannot make informed decisions about the right games for them to play. With SlotGuru, this situation is history. Everything they need to know is available to them whenever they need it, directly on their mobile device.” – said Stuart Armstrong, Director & Founder at SlotGuru.
SlotGuru will be available from all slot venues in Iceland in Autumn 2017.
