Caesars makes a move to win Japan IR license

Caesars Entertainment, an American gaming corporation has set-up a committee comprising of three members with specialists to procure an IR license in Japan.
Considering the persistent increase of fascination towards integrated resorts in Japan, initiatives have been taken by the Ceasars Entertainment in order to secure a license of its own.
Thus the gaming giant has come up with a three-person “Japan Advisory Committee” to reinforce the case with the backup of Tom Daschle, the former US Senate Majority Leader, Charlene Barshefsky, the former US Trade Representative, and Kara Bue of Armitage International.
Senator Daschle said he is excited to join the committee and added: “I know (Caesars) will bring the thoughtful and family-oriented approach that Japan is looking for during this important time.” Ambassador Barshefsky added applauded Caesars and said: “given their vast experience fostering international business as a global leader in the MICE industry, and my experience building strong economic ties between the United States and Japan while being a United States Trade Representative, joining their team was a natural decision.”
Ms Bue further stated that the company “has been a leading provider of world-class entertainment. It’s a great pleasure to support the Caesars team and promote the cross-cultural exchange of arts and entertainment between Japan and Caesars’ international network.”
The company returned the compliments through its President of International Development Steven Tight, who voiced his excitement on the move and said: “Caesars has a proud legacy of delivering remarkable entertainment experiences while focusing on responsible gaming and economic development. We are glad that Senator Daschle, Ambassador Barshefsky, and Kara Bue are helping us bring this experience to Japan should we be fortunate enough to earn a license.”
