Paddy power and Bookmakers Afternoon Greyhound Service gets on board over service extension

Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker that offers sports betting, online poker, online bingo, and online casino games and “Bookmakers Afternoon Greyhound Service” (BAGS) got on board over an agreement, in order to extend and invigorate its service offering across its land-based network.
Thus, the fixtures of BAGS greyhound will now be broadcasted on the Paddy Power in-house television channel across the bookmaker’s 631 shops.
In association with BAGS, the Racing Partnership compiled its greyhound fixture list and will cover over 12 greyhound tracks in the UK.
Paddy Power Betfair’s Managing Director for retail, David Newton, said: “Paddy Power is delighted to have entered into this agreement to ensure that customers have access to a broader range of quality greyhound racing content.”
Mark Kingston, the Director of The Racing Partnership, added: “We are delighted that Paddy Power has joined other betting shop operators in being able to show BAGS greyhound fixtures on their channels.
He also explained that the BAGS schedule “comprises over 1,600 fixtures per year from well-known tracks with a proven record of integrity and welfare” and emphasised: “This is a further vindication of the value of the BAGS brand and all it stands for.”
