New Mexico to legalise sports betting soon

New Mexico is all set to become the newest state to jump into the bandwagon of the US states that legalised sports betting following the US Supreme Court order in May. Even though it was a slow starter in this aspect, the state is all set to debut its sports book next week.
USBookmaking has unveiled the plans to start sports betting risk services at Santa Ana Star Casino & Hotel, where a casino sports book will be launched on October 16. Santa Ana Star, which is among the top-three revenue-generating New Mexico casinos, operates in the Albuquerque market and is one of the top three New Mexico casinos in terms of annual revenue.
Vic Salerno, President of USBookmaking, said that the company has found that there is tremendous demand for a Nevada-style retail sports book operations in a multitude of casinos throughout the country. “We specialise in the ability to get to market quickly and operate efficiently. We have carved out a unique position where we are a very attractive service provider to the many independent casino operations that exist today,” Salerno said.
