Caesars Entertainment Opens New Land-based Casino in Indiana

Casino operator Caesars Entertainment has officially opened the doors on its new land-based casino in Indiana. Following 18 months of construction, Caesars Southern Indiana was unveiled last week and replaces the 21-year-old riverboat casino that previously operated as Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
The 110,000-square-foot integrated facility features a wide variety of slot machines, table games and poker tables, as well as a retail sportsbook which allows guests to bet on a variety of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey and more. The sportsbook is equipped with 30 large television screens and a combination of wagering windows and kiosks.
“Caesars Southern Indiana will elevate the experience for our guests. We look forward to making each visit memorable with the exceptional service, friendly team members, and thrilling gaming and entertainment that our guests have come to love at our home here in Southern Indiana,” Brad Seigel, senior vice president and general manager of Caesars Southern Indiana said.
