Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino studio granted operational licence

Pragmatic Play, one of the leading multi-product providers in the iGaming industry, has been granted a Class II licence by the Romanian regulator (ONJN) to operate its new Bucharest-based live casino studio.
The state-of-the-art, newly-built studio, with a capacity of 43 tables and the possibility of future extensions, is now fully licensed to provide online and land-based operators with a product that reflects the Pragmatic Play brand: a high-quality, unique and flexible solution which is fully compliant.
Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino offering includes players’ favourite games, such as Live Roulette, Live Blackjack and Live Baccarat, with the popular Live Speed Roulette, Live Auto Roulette and Live Baccarat Super Six already on the roadmap.
Appealing to a high-level, demanding clientele, Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino games are designed to recreate the thrill of the land-based atmosphere with all the advantages of online play: fast and easy bet placement, detailed game statistics, complete bet history alongside immersive sounds effects and animations.
Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “We are pleased to have been granted this licence to operate our cutting-edge studio, an important step as we build the industry’s first-choice live casino solution. It features a solid and reliable platform, the most advanced technology and an artistic, cinematic approach, all managed by a team of professionals with extensive experience in the field.
“Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino vertical is a new landmark for our company. We enter this extremely competitive market with an outstanding multichannel solution that gives us every confidence we can reach and surpass the highest industry standards.”
Pragmatic Play has signed a series of significant commercial agreements over the past 12 months in regulated markets, expanding its reach with operators including PokerStars, Kindred and Casumo.
The award-winning content provider strengthened its multi-product approach in January 2019, completing the acquisition of virtual sports supplier VSoftCo.
