Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved the government’s new Action Programme, which includes a draft law for the legalisation of gambling.
Ukraine abolished most gambling operations in 2009, leaving state-run lotteries as the only legal gambling options available to local residents.
Ukraine’s previous gambling legalisation proposals included online options, but Zelensky’s administration has so far been focused only on land-based casinos.
