ZEAL receives license to offer virtual slot games in Germany
The ZEAL group has received the license from the German National Gambling Authority (GGL) to offer virtual slot games (online games). The subsidiary LOTTO24 AG is now allowed to offer online games for new customers in its web shops (LOTTO24, Tipp24). With this permission, the market leader for online lotteries is entering a new market segment in Germany and has reached an important strategic milestone.
Diverse portfolio for new customers
The diverse portfolio will go live in a few weeks. With this offer, ZEAL is tapping into a market segment in which the company already has years of experience. In the past, the offer of online games in other international markets was an important business segment for the ZEAL group. In addition, ZEAL has already established B2B cooperations with third-party providers such as the American full-service lottery provider Park Avenue Gaming, offering a broad portfolio of different games.
“We are very pleased about the trust placed in us by the national authority and are eager to be able to offer our online games very soon,” said Helmut Becker, CEO of ZEAL. “With this license, we reach an important milestone in our business strategy. We are convinced to be able to offer interested customers out there a great portfolio and new gaming experience.”
“Online games are becoming increasingly important and have established themselves in the international lottery and gaming industry,” said Julian Tietz, Managing Director, ZEAL Instant Games. “We are proud to finally offer our games in Germany after successful international collaborations.”
