MGA to Host Annual GREF Conference

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has announced that it will be hosting the Annual Conference of the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) in Malta this year.
Taking place between 20-22 May, the prestigious event is set to bring together over 90 representatives from 35 member states to engage in insightful discussions, exchange expertise and cooperate on emerging trends and challenges within the gaming sector.
Kinga Warda, Chief Officer for Policy and International Affairs at MGA, said: “We are honoured to be chosen as the host for the upcoming annual conference of GREF. This event presents a unique platform for regulators to come together, exchange knowledge, and collectively address the evolving challenges within our industry.
“We look forward to welcoming esteemed regulators from across Europe to Malta, as we strive to further strengthen collaboration and drive regulatory excellence.”
Established in 1989, GREF facilitates constructive dialogue among regulators, representing diverse perspectives, while also acting as a central point of contact for authorities and related organisations seeking insights from European gaming regulators.
Back in 2016, the MGA had organised a successful joint conference for GREF and the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA). The conference united advisors and regulators from various global gaming spheres, offering a valuable platform for operators, suppliers, lawyers, investors, regulators and other advisors to convene and discuss critical industry challenges.
