Bwin starts the trial phase of Tokabot’s Wettbuddy
bwin will start the trial of Tokabot’s new virtual betting buddy just ahead of the FIFA World Cup Russia. WettBuddy is a chatbot service that provides unique interactive real-time and context sensitive content, including bet-informing match stats and trivia.
The chat-bot will launch this month in Germany and Austria in a trial phase before a wider roll-out, bwin said, and will be used to engage customers throughout the World Cup and beyond.
The application provides unique interactive real-time and context sensitive content, including match stats, trivia and more, guaranteeing a more interactive betting experience which is tailored to each individual customer.
Initially operating via Facebook Messenger, the WettBuddy application will be available to consumers via a simple on-boarding sign-up process.
Yaniv Levin, CEO of Tokabot, the technology behind WettBuddy, said, “We are thrilled to partner with a market leader such as bwin, providing their customers with the ‘Tokabot experience’, which will make following football as enjoyable as it gets. We believe that social fan engagement, using Tokabot’s unique approach, is the key to the future of the entire sports eco system unlocking new opportunities for all stake-holders. Naturally, Tokabot is also a perfect fit for the sports betting segment, both from the business and the user excitement aspects. As a start-up company, we are looking forward to showing our strengths and ability, en route to a long term and successful relationship with a great partner as bwin.”
