Colossus Bets partners with Matchbook in racing pools
Colossus Bets, a betting company based in London, has announced Matchbook, a betting exchange community based in Ireland, as its first official racing pools partner. Colossus has launched a free-to-play racing game in support of the Brigadier Gerard meeting.
A £10K prize was available to be distributed among the players who successfully predicted all six winners on the event’s card, a consolation prize for those that missed by one, and Cash Out offers after each leg.
This comes on the back of last year’s announcement that Colossus has partnered with a consortium of over 54 racecourses to revamp the pool betting offering on British Racing and is expected to be followed by several announcements, both from new and existing members of the Colossus B2B network, which today numbers over 50 partners globally.
Bernard Marantelli, CEO of Colossus, said: “We are excited to begin the roll out of our new racing product in support of britbet’s ‘by racing, for racing’ vision. This has been a strong effort from all parties involved.”
The new racing portfolio will consist of winner, placer and “fecta” pools with lottery-sized prizes guaranteed by Colossus. As with the rest of the company’s offering, the new pools will be accompanied by FreePlay marketing functionality, the Syndicates crowdbetting feature and the Cash Out feature. The racing pools will go live on July 13.
