Playtech introduces live casino studio for Betfred
Playtech, an omni-channel gaming company, has introduced a new custom-made live casino studio area for Betfred.
This will be Betfred’s first ever dedicated live facility, called the studio. It features both live roulette and blackjack. It was developed in association with the operator to replicate the look and feel of the brand. A customer validation process gave regular Betfred players the chance to give their views on what they look for from a live casino offering, making it a collaborative, player-focused project.
The specially designed area is hosted by dedicated Betfred dealers in specially designed uniforms which, like the room itself, feature the company’s distinctive and familiar brand colour scheme.
The Warrington-based operator’s investment in the dedicated space in Playtech’s live casino facility in Riga is a step forward in the expansion of its live offering.
“With our new bespoke live casino studio, we wanted to create something really special for our players, and we’re confident that the finished product will exceed their expectations”, says Rakesh Chablani, Betfred’s managing director.
“This is a major achievement that we believe will be a game changer for our live casino product.”
The launch of the studio marks a new chapter in Playtech’s long-standing relationship with Betfred, the companies having worked closely together for over a decade. In 2017, Betfred confirmed an extension to its contract with Playtech, extending its content and services provision agreement until at least 2020.
“Betfred has been a key partner for us for over 10 years, and we’re delighted that we can now extend that partnership to delivering a dedicated live casino space”, says Shimon Akad, COO at Playtech. “We’ve significantly invested in live casino in recent years, particularly with the development of our 8,500 sqm studio facility in Riga, and we’re confident Betfred will also reap the benefits of investing in the expansion of their live offering.”
