Aspire Global applies for Swedish Gaming licence

Aspire Global, the Malta-based iGaming solutions provider, has applied for a Swedish gaming license. According to The new Swedish gaming act and license system will come into effect on 1 January 2019.
Aspire Global is looking to start operations in its seventh regulated market.
“We continue our focus on regulated or soon-to-be regulated markets as these market conditions enable new and exciting business opportunities, increased competitive advantages and a more sustainable business for us as a full-service platform provider”, says Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global.
The new gambling act and license system enter into force on 1 January 2019, requiring operators in the Swedish iGaming market to hold a local gaming license in order to offer online gambling and betting. Applications are accepted by The Swedish Gambling Authority, Lotteriinspektionen, as of 1 August 2018.
