Gambling revenues rise in Paraguay

Gambling and other games of chance generated a combined revenue of over USD 14.5 million between January and August of 2018 in Paraguay, an increase of 7.6 per cent from that of the previous year.

As per the prevailing registration, the Commission has to transfer 30 per cent of the total collected to the municipalities, 30 per cent to government units and 30 per cent to Directorate General of Welfare and Social Aid.
