All Japan Poker Championship (AJPC) Launches Inaugural Saipan Event February 2019
The All Japan Poker Championship (AJPC) has announced Saipan’s Imperial Pacific Resort Hotel as a new stop on its Asian Tour circuit, with a poker event scheduled to be held 13 to 17 February 2019.
As part of the AJPC’s ongoing poker tour throughout Asia, the group has been adding new destinations throughout the region including new events slated for Korea and Southeast Asia in addition to Saipan. Adding Imperial Pacific to the list of locations concise with AJPC’s announcement in early 2018 to continue growing opportunities for its player-base outside of Japan.
Mr. Sasaki Yasuhiro, Chairman of AJPC, stated: “The AJPC ASIAN CIRCUIT is the organizer of Japan’s first international poker event. The circuit has made a success as well as the first in Japan to hold an international event in Taiwan. Now, in 2019, we aim to hold the AJPC ASIAN CIRCUIT in Saipan for the first Japan-based tournament to be held on the island. We will continue to build our brand through launching tournaments in new and
exciting destinations.”
The event is expected to attract players from Japan as well as Korea and Taiwan, all part of AJPC’s existing player base. The event will be held in Saipan at the Imperial Pacific Resort Hotel from 13 to 17 February and include a variety of side events and cash games in addition to the main event, where buy-in has been confirmed at USD2,000.

AJPC (All Japan Poker Championship) holds a variety of yearly tournaments within Japan. The organization is focused on further developing the game of poker for Japanese players with a strategy to promote events both inside and outside of the country. The organization currently holds a yearly AJPC Championship, the largest poker tournaments of its type in Japan and includes a player base from Japan, Korean, Taiwan, China and more.
