The gaming revenue of Maryland casinos has set a single record of US$163.2 million in March. This figure is US$5 million higher than the previous record set in October 2018.
MGM National Harbor is once again the top scorer in the state and accounted for almost 39 per cent of the total, with gaming revenue from its slots and table games of US$62.8 million.
“A record-setting performance in March is great news for the state, and for the many good causes that casino revenue supports,” said Maryland Lottery and Gaming Director, Gordon Medenica.
Furthermore, Live! Casino and Hotel had a strong month, with March gaming revenue increasing 19 per cent from a year ago to US$55.9 million.
