Melco Resorts Launches “Above & Beyond” Sustainability Strategy

Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, the Hong Kong-based developer, owner and operator of casino gaming and entertainment casino resort facilities in Asia, has launched a new sustainability strategy called “Above & Beyond” following the release if its 2018 Sustainability Report.

The report outlines ambitious goals, actionable targets and enhances Melco’s disclosure around key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues that are critical to the company’s business.

The “Above and Beyond” strategy aims to meet four key goals by 2030: achieving carbon neutral resorts with reduction targets across a range of emission sources; achieving zero waste across its resorts including eliminating single-use plastics in daily operations; being the employer of choice and creating the best-in-class working environment for its employees; and inspiring guests by seamlessly integrating sustainability in their experience.
