Svenska Spel Partners with Swedish Ski Association

Svenska Spel has entered into a new partnership agreement with the Swedish Ski Association and become the new presentation partner to the long-distance team. The new seven-year agreement includes, among other things, an extra investment in young talent and is worth just over SEK 80 million.
“Our national team enthusiasts are pleased that we can now start a collaboration with Svenska Spel. We know that Svenska Spel is working hard to get more children and young people in motion and that is something that even the active ones are passionate about. With a strong partner we get even better opportunity to reach out and inspire more people to move,” Ola Strömberg, senior director of the Swedish Ski Association.
The agreement is valid from July 2019 to June 2026 and is worth over SEK 80 million. The cooperation includes, among other things, an investment in the development team of the 24 young promising cross-country skiers aged 18-22, who now become a Team Svenska Spel.
“We are happy and proud to cooperate with the long-distance team, which is one of our most beloved teams. As the country’s largest sports sponsor, we want to contribute and help our national team players continue to be successful and we will do everything possible to give them and the talents of Team Svenska Spel the best possible conditions for success,” Patrik Hofbauer, President and CEO of Svenska Spel said.
