LAST-MINUTE JIMENEZ PENALTY SCOOPS FIRST WINNER OF ‘UP FOR 8’ £8K JACKPOT

Raul Jimenez’s last-minute penalty for Wolves has scooped one lucky winner £8,000 in 888sport’s new Up For 8 game – the first time the top prize has been given away.
Mark Hubbard, an IT worker from Eastleigh, has become the first ever winner of the Up For 8 jackpot, after correctly predicting all eight results over the weekend.
Mark backed wins for Southampton, West Ham, Leicester, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, with draws between Blackburn and Cardiff and Wolves v Burnley – though it was the 95th minute goal for Wolves in the final match of the gameweek that proved decisive.
This is the first time there has been a winner of the Up For 8 jackpot in the three weeks since it launched at the start of the season – though there have been five players to narrowly miss out with seven out of eight correct results.
888sport’s free-to-play football predictor Up For 8 invites players to predict eight results over one weekend, with an £8k jackpot up for grabs if they name them all – and a £1 free bet given out for every correct pick.
