Cyprus National Betting Authority to Open New Gambling Addiction Centre in July
The National Betting Authority of Cyprus is planning to establish a new gambling addiction centre in July.
The government has offered the National Betting Authority an additional amount of €1m for promoting and strengthening rehabilitation programmes.
The National Betting Authority has conducted interactive seminars and workshops for underage people, cautioning them against the pitfalls of compulsive online betting.
The authority has also launched an app that allows people to set a limit on themselves regarding the time spent on gambling websites.
