Team GB reigning Olympic gold Champion in the canoe slalom men’s K1 Joe Clarke will face Man City Esports star Ryan Pessoa in FIFA 20

The news was revealed yesterday on Ryan’s Twitter – meaning tonight the Olympian will attempt to be the first athlete to win a game live against the FIFA pro.
Tonight, Red Bull Gaming brought together FIFA streamer Ryan Pessoa and Bath and England full-back Anthony Watson for a FIFA showdown. The rugby star didn’t manage to land a win, but largely kept the scores respectable, despite bemoaning “the disrespect!” Pessoa showed him as he danced around the defenses.
Pessoa played as RedBull Leipzig for the first two games, downgrading to RedBull Salzburg for the final match to give Watson a fighting chance, while Watson flicked between Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City, losing 3-1, 5-2 and 4-2 each time.
