Valorant's New Ranked System May Be Coming in August

Valorant May Have Reportedly Leaked an Upcoming Rank System

Valorant is one of the most successful games that has been released in 2020 and it is the first dedicated shooter by Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends. Now, a new report suggests that the long-anticipated ranking system will be coming to the game in August. Just like roulette gaming, having a fair ranking system is very important to competitive players. For the best and fairest roulette options you can always go to roulette77schweiz.com, but it’s up to Valorant to make sure that the game meets the standards set out by the community and specifically competitive players.

Valorant’s Ranking System – A Hot Topic for Many

Since its release, Valorant players have been asking for the introduction of a dedicated ranking system. The system, many argued, would allow players to truly excel and enjoy the added benefit of improving their skill by way of comparing themselves to others.

The system that was introduced several weeks ago has been vastly criticized as unable to meet the expectations of players. However, there is some good news coming, as Riot Games has confirmed they are working on a new and improved ranking system instead.

According to Riot Games, and a new leak, the new ranking system should be a significant improvement on the current system, allowing players to progress through the levels in an adequate manner and to be more finely matched with people of their own skill rating.

ELO, the metric used to rank players in Riot Games’ products, is now visibly available, and Riot Games has confirmed that more changes are on the way to make the ranked system what everyone expects – a way to match evenly-skilled gamers.

How’s the New System Going to Work?

Competitive Valorant seems to be in good hands. According to Valorant Leaks, the new system will allow players’ ranks to progress Up and Down and each separate Rank will have 5 Sub Levels to allow for further fine-tuning of each player’s skill and abilities in the game.

The introduction of 5 Levels means that there are 2 Levels more than the current 3 and this may turn out to be a way to balance the game further. Of course, trying to adjust the skill level of hundreds of thousands, and even millions of players is a perpetual effort in most gaming communities.

Yet, Riot Games is not going to miss out on the opportunity to optimize the product that it offers to players fully. As the reported ranking system looks right now, it reminds players of the Hearthstone, StarCraft 2 and League of Legends ranking systems.

Some have suggested that the system is even closer to Heroes of the Storm, but HotS system is modelled after StarCraft 2 in the first place. Naturally, we will have to wait and see for a while before we can confirm that Valorant is actually getting its new and improved ranking system in August, but this seems like the most logical move right now.

There Are More Leaks about the Game

With Valorant modelled after Riot Games in terms of new champions (or in this case agents), players have been happy with some of the latest revelations about the game. The upcoming agent called Shatter is expected to have a clocking ability, giving him a very unique angle on the battlefield and indeed turning him into a threat to others.

The current system used to introduce agents to the game would be based on the so-called Acts. Each Act will last a few months, allowing players to get enough time playing the new Agents and actually mastering them.

Even if the community doesn’t want to play a specific agent, players can at least adapt to counter-acting the characters when they play against them. Riot Games wants to slowly build up Valorant to success and making adequate changes, such as a better-ranked system, is the right way forward.
