Shambhala Resort to Open Soon

Shambhala resort, the largest integrated resort project in Russia, is to open soon, according to the Primorye Development company which is heading the project.
No specific date has been given, but the firm said the IR will open “in the very near future.”
Vera Shcherbina, First Vice Governor of Primorsky Territory, also said the state is expecting the launch to see tax revenues double to around RUB200 million.
“If last year about RUB100 million (US$1.36 million) came to the budget of the Primorsky Territory, then this year it will be more than RUB200 million. We expect that by 2025 the amount of tax revenues will be about RUB2.5 billion (US$34 million), and after the project reaches full capacity, in the long term, about RUB4.5 billion (US$61.2 million),” Shcherbina said.
In a press release, the corporation explained that the commissioning act for the Shambhala resort still needs to be signed before an opening date can be established.
