GGPoker Community To Raise Money For Women’s Charities On March 8
All registration fees to be donated, plus an additional $10,000 from GGPoker
GGPoker announces that will host a tournament on International Women’s Day (IWD) to raise funds for women’s charities.
The International Women’s Day Charity Event will be held at 20:00 UTC on March 8, with buy-in set at $10, and boasts a $10,000 prize pool guarantee; $1 from each player’s buy-in will be added to the charity fund. GGPoker will top up the amount raised with an additional $10,000 contribution.
The final amount raised will be donated in full to international women’s charities.
Furthermore, bounties will be placed on the heads of special guests playing the event; players that knock out any of the following will receive a T$100 prize:

GGPoker will also run a number of IWD competitions, giveaways and awareness-raising activities through the poker room’s social media, starting from today March 3.
“The GGPoker community has a history of donating funds to worthy charities, so it’s great that they’ll get the opportunity once more this International Women’s Day,” said Daiva Byrne, GGPoker Outreach & Community Advocate. “Charity tournaments are a wonderful way of raising money; we get the opportunity to play the game we love while supporting something worthwhile.”
