Coinbase, CS.MONEY and Red Magic partner for second season of BLAST Rising
Three global partners confirmed for next week’s online Counter-Strike tournament that gives teams a chance to compete for $30,000 prize pool
Coinbase, CS.MONEY and Red Magic have been named as partners for next week’s (3-23 May) BLAST Rising – a Counter-Strike tournament that gives teams outside the world’s top 20 rankings a chance to compete for a $30,000 prize pool.
Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase, skin trading platform CS.MONEY and mobile phone Red Magic, which is manufactured by Nubia Technology, will see their branding feature heavily across the three-week Counter-Strike tournament.
The online tournament will feature 24 teams from 19 countries across Europe – translating to three weeks and approximately 150+ hours of esports action for viewers to sink their teeth into. Each partner will receive a number of bespoke giveaways and integrated promotion within the in-game production and coverage.
For Coinbase and CS.MONEY the partnership is an extension on their current sponsorship of BLAST Premier while Red Magic will be returning for their second event after sponsoring last year’s BLAST Premier Fall Series.
Oliver Clarke, Head of Brand Partnerships for BLAST, said: “We are grateful to our partners in helping us provide opportunities for up-and-coming players and teams across Europe. The expansion of the tournament from 16 to 24 teams and the addition of three leading brands as partners highlights the growth BLAST Rising has enjoyed in the 12 months since it launched. With BLAST Rising returning for a second year after the success of the first event, we’re delighted that Coinbase, CS.MONEY and Red Magic are joining us and building on their association with BLAST Premier.”
Produced by leading esports company Fantasyexpo, BLAST Rising is a tournament that forms part of BLAST’s commitment to creating a sustainable esports ecosystem that provides opportunities for a wide range of organisations – and mirrors BLAST Premier’s attempts to offer a global qualifying circuit and route into their main events in 2021.
