Alexander Sharvadze joins Virtus.pro as Marketing Director. Before Virtus.pro he worked as a «Sport FM» radio producer and was UFC Russia CMO with a focus on brand expansion on the local market. Alex is also a master of sports in water polo and runner-up of the 2015 World Championship in Masters category in Kazan.
Alex will be in charge of the club’s marketing communications, including shaping our communication strategy, developing the brand, and growing our fanbase.
Alexander Sharvadze, Virtus.pro Marketing Director:
Finding innovative ways for brand development and creating unconventional methods of gaining the audience has always been my passion. Pretty much all my life is centered around sports, and there are a lot of ways to utilise my knowledge and experience in esports. I am glad to join Virtus.pro and work in a team of professionals with high goals.
Sergey Glamazda, Virtus.pro CEO:
Virtus.pro as a club has been through a lot of changes in the past 18 months: creating the VP.Prodigy brand, launching our mobile app and working on VP.Bearloga franchise. We do what we do so that our fans can have a better experience in interacting with our club. Alex has a phenomenal experience and a pitch-perfect career: from working on the radio to being the head of the UFC Marketing Department, and he consistently centers his job around sports. I am sure he will help us make our brand even more interesting, not only for the CIS audience but worldwide.
