TOM-BOLA Launches Online Raffle System to Assist with Charity Fundraising
TOM-BOLA is a brand new online raffle system, which is specifically designed for charity fundraising. At a time when all charity coffers have been hit by the global pandemic, it’s a system that can generate much needed funds for organisations who are currently looking at the potential for running an online lottery.
The TOM-BOLA raffle system takes care of everything needed when creating and managing draws – from player account management to payments to configuring tickets. Each ticket can be customised to display words, symbols or images that have meaning to the charity and will resonate with their brand.
Old school raffle tickets are displayed in digital form without the need to knock on doors or to process winners manually. With traditional fundraising events closed for much of 2020 into the first half of 2021, it’s a solution that has already been adopted in Denmark and it’s open worldwide.
TOM-BOLA is already run by Danish charity Muskelsvindfonden. Their raffle is called Det Store Selleri (The Big Celery).
The system is targeted at bigger charities who fundraise directly with the public. As their regular, face-to-face activities have been reduced significantly over the last 18 months, an online raffle system is a logical choice to promote to their volunteer and donation-base.
Tom Finlayson, founder of Newacy said:
“The TOM-BOLA raffle platform is what charities hit by Covid-19 restrictions need to recuperate and then move forward and exceed their fundraising targets.
“Many people and sectors were hit hard during this pandemic, but charities were especially affected due to the in-person nature of their fundraising. Yet it is now that we need these charities the most as many people struggle.
“As the world has shifted more online during the pandemic, so must the fundraising channels of charities, and TOM-BOLA is a simple and effective way for those charities to do so.”
“TOM-BOLA is available and accessible from today for charities. The company works with the charity organisation to create a bespoke online raffle system that reflects the charity’s brand. Once marketing strategies and designs are agreed, the system is then set up ready for raffle draws and fundraising.”
