MiFinity launches Virtual IBAN for fast, private and secure payments
MiFinity, the secure eWallet for the iGaming industry, today announced the launch of its Virtual IBAN (International Bank Account Number) service. MiFinity users are now able to request a free IBAN linked to their primary MiFinity eWallet, which can be used to top up their MiFinity accounts. They can then use the funds at any of MiFinity’s 190+ live merchants and iGaming operators – the full list can be found here.
IBANs are used worldwide to identify individual bank accounts to make it easier to process international payments. The MiFinity Virtual IBAN is a free, private and secure way for users to credit their MiFinity accounts directly from any GB or EEA IBAN enabled bank account. The MiFinity virtual IBAN also offers same-day settlement for SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfers.
Verified MiFinity users will be able to request an IBAN for free and have it linked to their account within minutes. The MiFinity Virtual IBAN service will initially be open to customers in the UK and EEA (European Economic Area), and available in EUR and GBP currencies.
“Our virtual IBANs are a remarkably simple way for users to top up their MiFinity and iGaming accounts,” said MiFinity CEO, Paul Kavanaugh. “It’s free, quick to set up, and easy to use. IBANs also offer an extra layer of privacy for our more security conscious customers. We think that the virtual IBAN will prove to be a big hit with customers in 2022, and the launch of this exciting new product is a great way to start the new year”.
