OKTO powers REAC’s MagicPay into first fully cashless ecosystem in the Netherlands
OKTO has entered into a strategic agreement with Rotterdam-based REAC to power up the entire Dutch arcade gaming machines market with cashless payment services. OKTO’s proprietary cashless payments technology has been integrated into market proven REAC’s management and monitoring system available in more than 25,000 gaming machines across over 200 venues in Holland.
The cashless payment solution will go live under the magicPAY brand. Arcade operators can now take advantage of a mobile-first, licenced, secure, cashless, and entirely software-driven solution, securing fast-time to market and enabling broader payment options for their users. Developed to make gaming faster, easier, and socially responsible, the solution delivers maximum convenience for players and operators alike.
Theo Engelis, Business Development Director at OKTO stated: “REAC is a highly respected partner which has built strong and long-standing relationships in the market based on a 25-year history. Our partnership with them highlights our ongoing commitment to work with local & international leaders to bring the best payment experiences to merchants and users alike.
We’re glad that we can now provide even more merchants with a payments technology that streamlines and simplifies the payment experience on gaming machines. Through our collaboration we have been able to make a rapid and decisive entry to what is an important and highly regulated market in Europe, introducing our licensed, omni-channel, cashless solution.”
Einar Waegemaekers, Managing Partner at REAC said: “I am excited to confirm this partnership between two market-leading brands. Both organisations are pioneers and constantly exploring new ways of delivering safe, secure and seamless services to the gaming industry. We have very positive chemistry and share a similar technology-driven outlook, all of which are essential components of a progressive partnership and augurs well for the future.”
