New mobile version of popular horse game offers seamless play across platforms
Star Stable Entertainment today announces the global launch of the mobile version of its flagship game Star Stable Online. Star Stable Online for iOS will be available in the App Store from 17th February 2022.
The on-the-go version of the world’s fastest growing horse adventure game brings seamless cross-play to millions of players, meaning all the elements of the desktop version of Star Stable Online can now be enjoyed on mobiles and tablets.
Designed to give players the opportunity to engage their independent, creative and adventurous powers, the Star Stable Online game sees players go on quests in an open world populated by other riders. In this world a colourful cast of characters bring to life in-game events such as seasonal celebrations, races, and challenges.
Early response to the launch has been extremely positive. The seamless cross-platform play has been quickly adopted by the target audience, with 28% of players already using the iOS version in Australia, New Zealand and Canada during the soft launch.
Star Stable CEO Johan Sjöberg says: “Star Stable Online’s loyal players have been asking to play on their mobile devices, where we spend so much of our time. We promised we were working on it, and now we are so happy to deliver on that promise. Our development team has been working tirelessly to ensure the same vibrant, rich experience on desktop as on mobile. This is an important milestone for the company, and more importantly, for our community of players, new and old.”
Star Stable Entertainment recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and with it the success and social impact of a game that continues to see steady growth of its player community. With more than 21 million registered users across 180 countries, and supported in 14 languages, Star Stable Online has grown over the last decade to become an exceptional success story in the gaming industry, holding a unique corner of the market by catering to an underserved section of the community with its adventure-based MMORPG.
