WePlay Esports makes the Russian-language broadcast of GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022 open for community casting coverage

Due to the start of a full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the company will not organize the broadcasting of the tournament in Russian for the safety of employees.
On February 21, WePlay Esports announced the official Russian-language broadcast of the largest Dota 2 tournament, GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022. However, today, fully realizing the importance of the event for the esports community, the studio refuses to broadcast the tournament in Russian.Â
Instead, WePlay Esports is going to host a Ukrainian-language broadcast of GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022. With the talents and company employees’ safety in mind, the broadcast will be held in a homecast format. The broadcast will be available on the official WePlay Esports Twitch channel.

- Vladyslav “JUSTICE†Bahan (Twitter)
- Bohdan “Aelnis†Zaverukha
- Oleg “Feaver†Skarzhinsky (Twitter)
- Roman “Telpecarne†Shevchuk (Twitter)
- Andrii “violinUA†Yatsiuk (Twitter)
The GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022 is open for community casting coverage in Russian. However, WePlay Esports reserves the right to change the standard rules for organizing a community cast to draw attention to the current events on the territory of Ukraine.Â
Like any other language, Russian is not used on the territory of the Russian Federation solely – as well as English is used in Europe, Australia, the United States, etc. We know and believe that many Russian-speaking people all over the world are now hurt by what is happening in Ukraine. As a company of Ukrainian origin, WePlay Esports cannot stand aside and will do its best to draw the attention of the world community to the war on the territory of Ukraine.
