CRÉDIT AGRICOLE COMMITS TO ESPORTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TEAM VITALITY
Leading global esports organisation Team Vitality is excited to announce France’s biggest bank Crédit Agricole as its official partner. As part of the partnership, Team Vitality and Crédit Agricole will work closely together on fielding possibilities for all through engaging activations and programs.
As a long-standing contributor to the support of young people, Crédit Agricole is strengthening its commitment to employment, training, solidarity, sport and financial support for the youth. Created to support young people and help facilitate their passions, the partnership will see Crédit Agricole become the main sponsor of the Vitality School.
Created in August 2020 and having trained over 200 trainees, the Vitality School provides 12 – 17-year-olds the unique opportunity to take part in esports and gaming courses during the school holidays. Aimed at players of all levels, the Vitality School covers a wide range of comprehensive topics including the history of Vitality, the daily life of an esports athlete, and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Crédit Agricole’s involvement will see its logo featured on the Vitality School jersey and take the program to a new level.
Sign-ups for both virtual and onsite training at Team Vitality’s state-of-the-art Paris HQ, V-Hive, for both Spring and Summer seasons are open now at https://vitality.gg/en/school/.
The partnership will also cover Team Vitality’s Ligue Française League Of Legends, Rocket League, FIFA, and Fortnite players and teams with Crédit Agricole branding being prominent across all assets and content. Further activations are also in the works and will be unveiled in the months to come.
Nicolas Maurer, CEO at Team Vitality commented: “It’s a pleasure to partner with Crédit Agricole which is not just an iconic French institution but also one of the top 10 banks worldwide. At Team Vitality we have always seen education and development as a core pillar for not only our players but also our community, so it’s great to partner with an entity that shares those values. The work we will do together will aim to open as many doors as possible for young people in esports and gaming, and I look forward to seeing the Team Vitality community get involved,”
Michel Ganzin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole SA added: “This partnership is in line with our desire to strengthen social cohesion and inclusion, particularly among young people. By reaching out to them through the growing interest in esports, Crédit Agricole wishes to be a vector of links. Not just between generations that play games, but also between players from all regions in our territory, regardless of their difficulties or handicaps. It is only by promoting this type of inclusive action that we can concretely participate in the in-depth transformation of our society.”
