Veloce Esports Announces Fanatec as Official Steering Wheel Partner
Veloce Esports has revealed a long-term partnership with high-end sim racing hardware manufacturer Fanatec. Both organisations occupy prominent positions in the esports industry and now look to strengthen their respective footholds with an exciting new collaboration.
The Bavaria-based hardware brand produces market-leading equipment such as steering wheels, pedals, shifters, cockpits and much more, offering some of the most desirable sim racing solutions on the market. The partnership coincides with Fanatec’s launch of the “CSL DD” wheelbase earlier in 2021, as the organisation made its foray into the entry-level market with a focus on more affordable products.
Veloce Esports, meanwhile, continues to go from strength to strength following the ultra-successful #NotTheGP Series in 2020, the launch of Lando Norris’ gaming and lifestyle brand “Quadrant”, and its unprecedented audience growth as the London-based organisation continues to take the esports community by storm.
As Official Steering Wheel Partner, Fanatec will gain access to Veloce’s ever-expanding online ecosystem, with monthly viewership figures in excess of 230 million across its various channels bringing their products to new audiences for the first time.
For Veloce, the partnership will continue to highlight the organisation as a key player in the esports space with Fanatec branding featured on liveries in multiple games on multiple platforms.
“We’re so excited to welcome Fanatec to the Veloce family. This is a brand that has become synonymous with esports and sim racing in much the same way as Veloce I feel, so it’s a very good fit. I’m really looking forward to activating the relationship together with our highly engaged and ever-growing community,” Rupert Svendsen-Cook, CEO of Veloce Esports, said.
“Veloce shares our vision of what the next generation of motorsport and esports competition could look like. There is huge potential for growth in this sector and we’re excited to start this partnership with such a powerful content team,” Belma Nadarevic, Head of Marketing at Fanatec, said.
“Our planned projects will demonstrate our commitment to innovation, pushing sim racing forward in new ways. I am looking forward to a lot of entertaining content but also to work closer with the team of Veloce,” Belma Nadarevic added.
