AC Milan QLASH seals its debut in the eFootball Championship Pro 2023 with a victory in the Milan Derby

On the first day of the eFootball Championship Pro 2023, AC Milan QLASH defeated Inter Esports in the virtual Milan Derby in its very first game in the competition. The tournament is organized by KONAMI, Principal Partner and Official Training Kit Partner of AC Milan, with all games being played in Barcelona after previous editions were all held remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The protagonists of the match were the three Rossoneri pro-players Carmine âNaples17xâ Liuzzi, Salvatore âSASINHO_DIGIACâ Di Giacomo and Luigi âKirito_Yuukiâ Loffredo, who won their respective matches and collected the total points up for grabs (9) and thus kicking off AC Milanâs participation in the competition on the right foot. The tournament will now continue until May, when the regular season will end and the first six qualified teams will enter the knockout stage to win the title of champion.
In more details, the three games that made up matchday 1 for AC Milan QLASH ended as follows:

- ACM Naples17x vs Christopher_M_M 2-0
- Game 2
- ACM Kirito vs Arda Golazooo 2-1
- Game 3
- ACM Sasinho vs MeroMen 3-1
At the end of the Virtual Derby, pro-player Salvatore âSasinhoâ commented: âWe are very happy. Winning against our rivals in a Derby and making this type of a debut in such an important competition is fantastic. Now we want to keep our focus on the competition and try to do even better in the next game.â
On returning to play an esports tournament in person, Salvatore added: âAfter a few difficult years, we are delighted to be back playing in such a beautiful environment and meet our opponents in person. This is a fantastic event, very well organized. We are enjoying being here.â
Carmine âNaples17xâ, who won game 1 against FC Inter added: âWe practiced a lot ahead of this debut and we are delighted that we were able to win all games against Inter Esports. We are very happy right now and we hope to continue like this in the tournament.â
